Drive-In ADU is a garage conversion accessory dwelling unit, that takes a 1920’s Spanish style garage and turns it into a home office and family space for a growing family of four. The clients wanted the ADU to not feel like another house on the property, so we embraced the perception of a garage, while keeping the garage doors as an expansive opening into the yard. CGA built out the remaining 3 walls and storage loft with programs: kitchen, bathroom, office, and murphy bed.
